Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Wright Lemmon, 87, died at her home here last Saturday.
Funeral services were held Wednesday from the McFadden Funeral Home, Rev. Gordon I. Zimmerman officiating. Interment was in Maple Brove cemetery.
Mrs. Lemmon was born Dec. 23, 1860 in Fairfield, Jefferson County, Ia. She was married on Sept. 9, 1877, to George E. Lemmon, who survives her. They had been married seventy and one-half years.
Survivors include her husband, George; three sons, Sherman and Arthur, Los Angeles, Calif., and Robert, Guthrie Center; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Jones, Audubon and Mrs. Effie Throckmorton, Los Angeles; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
