Letha F. Lunn, 90, of Fort Madison died at 9:25 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Fort Madison Community
Hospital. Born March 16, 1921, in Creston, she was the
daughter of Samuel C. and Zola M. Mayne Smith. On
Dec. 19, 1936, she married Elbert B. Lunn in Kahoka,
Mo. He died June 9, 1988. Mrs. Lunn was a homemaker.
She enjoyed doing puzzles and being with people.
Survivors include one son, John Lunn of Burlington; four
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one step
great-great-grandchild. Besides her husband, she was
preceded in death by one son, three daughters, three
grandchildren and her parents. Visitation will be from
9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at King-Lynk Funeral Home
and Crematory in Fort Madison, where family will receive
friends. The funeral for Mrs. Lunn will be at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday at King-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory,
with Rev. John Roberts officiating. Burial will be in
Oakland Cemetery in Fort Madison. A memorial has
been established.
