Michael Barnes, 53, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at his residence while listening to Paul McCartney and in the loving care of his sister Peggy Isbell and family.
He was born August 8, 1958, the son of Oscar and Norma "Tommie" Barnes.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and telling stories. He loved to work on his vehicles, work around the yard, and listen to music. His wit and humor will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his sons, Robert Barnes (Tracey King), and Matthew Barnes (Claire Douglas); grandchildren, Reecetom King, Mason King, and Addison Barnes; a sister, Peggy Isbell (husband, Bert), two brothers-in-law, Charles Isbell (wife, Tina), and Mike Bowden (wife, Shirley), five nephews, Jeff Barnes, Michael Eric Barnes, Josh Barnes, Tim Bowden, and Sam Bowden; and two nieces, Gina Isbell, and Dee Dee Ross.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Barnes; his father, Oscar Lewis Barnes, two sisters, Mary Catherine Isbell and Kelly Bowden; and a nephew Daniel Isbell.
