She was born May 28, 1987 in Lawrenceville, Illinois the daughter of Jack and Carol (Booker) Emmons.

Survivors include her parents Jack and Carol Emmons of Lawrenceville, IL. Paternal grandparents: Todd and Beulah Morris of St. Francisville, IL., Maternal Grandparents Jim and Shirley Nash of Decatur, IL. Her fiance' Derrick Tate of Bridgeport, IL.: two sons Elijah Frye, and Landon Tate, one daughter Emmah Frye, two brothers John and wife Laura Emmons of Lawrenceville,IL., Brian Emmons and wife Jennifer of Sumner ,IL. One sister survives Mistie and her husband Brent McQueen of Lawrenceville, IL. Two nieces survive: Breanna McQueen, April Emmons: Five nephews: Eric Emmons, Anthony Emmons, Adam Emmons, Jacob Emmons, Austin McQueen.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 12:00 noon at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the DARE Program of Lawrenceville, IL
