Burnell N. Ruth of York died at 8:58 p.m. April 28 at York Hospital. He was 66.
Mr. Ruth retired as a truck driver from the former Motor Freight Express after 21 years.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Eagles Nest No, 183.
Born in York, April 19, 1931, he was the son of the late Jerry J. and Grace A. Lehr Ruth.
He leaves a companion, Esther Hannah, York; three sons, Bernie Ruth, Glen Rock,
Corey Ruth, South Carolina, Cornell Ruth, Shiloh; five grandchildren; three sisters,
Kitty Partridge and Ethel Jackson, both of Shiloh, and Evelyn Zumbrum, Red Lion; and a
brother, Kenneth Ruth, York.
Following cremation, graveside services are at 10 a.m. Friday in Shiloh Cemetery with
the Rev. Gilbert Sier officiating.
Leroy R. Leber Funeral Home Inc., 2290 School St., Shiloh, is in charge of arrangements.
