He was born March 27, 1931 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late William Joseph and Grace May (Kaufmann) Cunningham.
Thomas joined the US Army in 1950 and served in Korea, Japan, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Survivors include: one son, Thomas John Glen Cunningham, brother, Leonard Cunningham of St. Joseph; sister, Ellen May Hull of Auburn, CA.
Inurnment will be held at the St. Peters Cemetery in Stanberry, MO at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2012.
