ALTMAN, Edwin A., age 78 years, passed away Sunday, January 26, (1947) in Bluffton, Ohio. Mr. Altman had been a resident of Agate Bay for the past forty years and engaged in farming. He was a member of the Rome Community Church. The survivors are five sons, A. Wayne and Waldo E., of Bellingham, William W. and L. Clare, of Seattle, Roscoe M., Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. R. E. Petitt, Seattle, Miss Ruth Altman, Bellingham; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Prof. C. O. Altman, Westerville, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Light, Mount Cory, Ohio, Mrs. Ed Fellers, Findlay, Ohio, and many nephews and nieces. The remains will be received by the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by Rev. Chester Rutledge, Saturday, February 1, at 1:30 p.m. Final resting place, Greenacres Memorial Park.
