Ruby B. Frizzell, 96, was born April 2, 1915 in Houston, passed away January 15, 2012. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church and retired from Memorial High School at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Moody"; her parents, brothers & sisters. She is survived by her children Derwood Felton, Janice Perkins, Arlene Papke and Debra McElhany Wappler & husband Keith; brothers-in-law Joe Cecil Frizzell and Benford Frizzell and wife Doris; sisters-in-law Billie Jean Beard and husband Earl and Cora Frizzell; 6 grandchildren Todd Perkins, Kenneth Perkins and wife Carla, Donna Dean, Scooter Felton and wife Tammy, Theresa Schlichter and husband Eric and Natalie McElhany & friend Billy Chastain; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with a funeral at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
