Services for Gene Lorraine Jensen, 75, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area Two. She died Sunday of cancer at Ramona Manor Convalescent Hospital in Hemet.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Anders; two sons, Melvin Gerdes of Fontana and Jack Gerdes of Howe, Okla.; a daughter, Billie June Melhose of Anchorage, Alaska; a stepson, Anders III of Rogue River, Ore.; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Genevieve Fowle of Long Beach and Betty Jane Shaw of Newport Beach.
