She arrived in New York 26 MAY 1857 from Le Harve, France. Manifest noted she was a farmer from Baden, age 22

She had 10 children with William.

Helena was admitted to the Homeopathic State Hospital, Rittersville (now part of Allentown) PA 10 OCT 1919 by her sons Augustus and Jacob under the guidance of the family physician, Dr. Landis. Helena died there.

Helena was older than ages indictaed in the census records. Her headstone had her birthday as Feb 13, 1842. She was actually born between 1832 and 1835.
