Tia Marie Risley of Longview went home to be with her Lord Jesus Jan. 14, 2012, at the Hospice Care Center.
She was born Sept. 27, 1981, in Vancouver, to Jerry P. Risley of Longview and Joanne K. Risley of Mesa, Ariz. She began her education at the Progress Center in Longview and graduated from Kelso High School.
Tia lived with her father and enjoyed reading the Bible, drawing, writing and watching movies. Jesus and her family were very precious to her. She also loved traveling and eating out.
She was preceded in death by three of her precious grandparents, Roger Risley, and Clyde and Kathryn Christian.
Tia is survived by her father, Jerry; her mother, Joanne and her fiance, Reggie Hayes; a brother, Taylor and his fiance, Shawna Colton; her grandmother, Darlene and her husband, Duane Bradburn; many loving aunts and uncles; and numerous beloved cousins.
A celebration of Tia's life is planned for 4 p.m. Friday at New Horizon's Church, 405 N. 19th Ave., in Kelso.
