He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanette Val Courser, brother Kelly Courser, and grandparents Leonard & Elaine Maine.

Kenny worked as a Mill Wright at Ross Simmons Hardwood in Longview, WA before becoming medically retired in 1991. First and foremost Kenny loved his family, they meant the world to him. He was so proud of his kids, Tiffany, and Chris, that they had grown into such responsible and respectful young adults. Kenny loved fishing and was a great fisherman. Both Tiff and Chris are great fishermen because of him. He sure enjoyed how his little girl could show up all those other fishermen on the banks. He always looked forward to family camping trips and offshore tuna and halibut trips. Kenny also loved his cars and boats, being a member of the Longview Yacht Club since 2005, he just loved nice things. He could fix anything and make it beautiful. His real joy was working in his shop with his son Chris. Watching him learn and progress. He always was amazed with how Chris expanded his knowledge and was able to build things independently, finding enjoyment out of the same things he did. He loved Classic cars. He had just gotten back into drag racing, and enjoyed it so much. No only did he love the speed and adrenaline rush, he loved that his family always came to watch. Kenny was a teacher to all. He shared his wisdom and was a great role model to his kids and their friends. Kenny was an awesome man, husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed dearly and will always stay in our hearts. Rest in peace sweetheart, we love you.

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 pm Sunday December 18th at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Longview Yacht Club, 6021 Willow Grove Road. Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
