CHARLES ANTHONY LANGFELS, age 82, a resident of Edgemont Manor, died Friday, November 3, 2006, at the nursing home. Born in Bourbon County, April 10, 1924, to the late Leo and Sofie Hutson Langfels, he was a retired Harrison County Water Association employee and a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Langfels attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota and was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church and Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife and a sister.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Monday at the St. Edward Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Paris. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301, Attn: Gift Processing.
