Nancy Ann McPheeters is the first child born to Azariah & Susannah (Mathis-Matthews) McPheeters. She was born 16 Jul 1842 near Greencastle, Putnam Co., IN on her father's farm.
She was christened/named after her maternal grandmother's name. She passed away in her early teens in Dallas Co., MO. She was the first person to be buried in the New Hope Baptist Cemetery in 1858.
