She was born October 29, 1894 in Minneapolis and graduated from the Fairview Hospital School of Nursing. She and her husband operated the Gambles store in Blackduck for a time, after which she served in the Armed forces during WWII.
She worked as a nurse for Gambles-Skogmo Corp. Minneapolis until moving to the Kelliher Good Samaritan Center six years ago.
Mrs. Peters is survived by one brother, Willard Anderson, Kelliher and one sister Laura Edlund, Kelliher.
She was preceded by her husband, Ford, two sisters and one brother.
