Funeral services for Lois Baugh Christy, 77 of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Cypress Baptist Church West Monroe. Bro. Larry Eubanks and Bro. Lemiel Baugh will be officiating.
Interment will follow at Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mrs. Christy was born December 11, 1934 in Eros, LA and passed away January 18, 2012 in West Monroe.
She loved to cook, garden and hunt and was an active member of Cypress Baptist Church. Mrs. Christy loved her family and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Christy of 36 years; parents, Richard Ted Baugh and Mary Harper Baugh; brothers, Melvin Baugh and Marshall Baugh; sister, Helen Baugh Lay; step-grandchild, Tiffany Still.
Mrs. Christy is survived by her sons; Tommy Leon Christy and wife Ginger, Richard Lynn Christy and wife Shona; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 5 brothers and 8 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Gary Christy, Terry Baugh, David Smith, Stephen Baugh, Duston Baugh, Brian Baugh, Brad Osbon and Erik Aswell.
