Glenn Arthur Adams Sr., 90, went to heaven Feb. 7, 2004, while in St. John's Hospital for a broken hip. His daughter was by his side. Glenn was born Aug. 11,1913, in Alva, Okla., son of Ed Adams and Nellie Peacock Adams. He proudly served his country in the army during WWII. Both Glenn and Mary were charter members of Calvary Temple Assembly of God, and served as the church treasurer for 20 years. Glenn retired as a master printer with the Gospel Publishing House at 65, and then again from Unipost Printing at age 80. His wife of 69 years is Mary E. (Wilkerson) Adams. They were married Dec. 23, 1935. He is survived by his wife Mary E.; a daughter, Glenda Adams; two sons, Glenn A. Jr. and Wife Kieu Hua, and Stephen M. and Wife Suzanna; eight grandchildren, John and Mark Boyts, Brenda Myers, Carol Boehm, Nathan Adams, Morgan Adams, Claire and Madeleine Adams; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandc h i l d r e n ; one sister, Grace Smith; one sister-in-law, Edna Adams; three in-laws, Sue Wilkerson and Ed Keithley, Ann Wilkerson and Paul Andris, Faith Wilkerson and Roger Perkin. His love for the Lord and his family will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Nellie Adams; two brothers, Chester and Claude; one sister, Marjorie Burris; and inlaws Bryan and Ethel Wilkerson, and Weldon, Darrel, and Bill Wilkerson.
