Estella B. Andersen, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2001, in Bountiful, Utah, of heart failure.

She was born on June 22, 1910, to Edward Herman and Gertrude Allgood Berg. She lived and worked all her life in Salt Lake City. She married George W. Bruton on September 1, 1936; they were later divorced. She married Reuben Andersen in the Salt Lake Temple on April 24, 1956; he passed away October 20, 1985.

Estella was employed for over 50 years as bookkeeper/secretary for several local firms, including Drive-It-Yourself, Flinco Inc., and CPC.

She loved people and church service. She served as secretary to nine bishops in the Monument Park 10th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved all the women in her singles group. She will be missed as confidant, chauffeur, and all occasion planner, which she did until her late 80s.

She is survived by her three daughters, Jeanne (Ross) Carter of Holladay; Margaret (John) Wadsworth of Panaca, Nevada, and Ann (Don) Burningham of Bountiful; 19 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandsons; brother Howard B. Berg of Englewood, Colorado. Her other children are E. Michael Berg, Katherine Kounalis, and Kelleen Smith. Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Clinton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2001 at 11a.m. in the Monument Park 10th Ward, 1930 So. 2100 E. Friends and family may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 So., and Saturday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment Provo City Cemetery.
