Potter teamed with her husband in vaudeville as Wheeler & Potter and trouped on the Keith-Orpheum circuit and on Pantages time. She also appeared on the stage of the New York Palace with Mrs. Jean Hughes. Potter was married to stage performer Bernard Wheeler and retired in 1938.
She died in Hollywood of coronary thrombosis.
