BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -Mrs. Corinne Bennett, 73, widow of John R. Bennett, who served as a Republican congressman from western Upper Michigan for many years, died Monday night. Bennett, of Ontonagon, was in Congress for most of the period from 1942 to 1964. Survivors include three children, Marilyn Haskins of Newburgh, N.Y., Nancy Cannon of Rockville, Md., and John R. Bennett II of Beallsville, Md.

Cannon, Rockville, Md. and John B Bennett, Beallsville, Md. Sister of Gladys Marohn, Wisconsin and Beatrice Thomas, Illinois. Also survived by three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home, rt.109, Barnesville, Md., from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Barnesville, Md., Friday, November 30, 11 a.m. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Montgomery County Heart Association, 7847 Old Georgetown rd., Bethesda, Md.
