1962 October 29th, Traverse City, Michigan. Kingsley -- Funeral services for Frank L. Craig, 78, of Sand Lake will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley, Rev. Loster Price officiating, with burial in Kingsley Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Craig, former Kingsley area school superintendent and music teacher, died Saturday morning at his Sand Lake home after a lingering illness. He was born February 28, 1884 in Hartford, the son of Benjamin and Sarah Craig, and was a graduate of Central Michigan University. In addition to serving at Kingsley, Mr. Craig taught school at Sault St. Marie, Bay Port, Morice, Cedar Springs and Sand Lake, and at the time of his death was Sand Lake Village Clerk. On November 26, 1907 he was married to Silva Crowell, who survives.
