MILTON WEEKS, RETIRED FARM OPERATOR, DIES
Milton S. Weeks, Canon City resident for nearly 50 years who resided at the Strathmore Hotel in this city, died Tuesday morning at a Pueblo hospital. Mr. Weeks, 88, suffered a stroke about 18 days ago. He was a retired farmer and came to Canon City from Michigan to make his home.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of the Holt Mortuary and services will be announced later.
Mr. Weeks was born June 18, 1872 in Canada. He was married July 12, 1894 to Estella Miller who preceded him in death Jan. 26, 1940.
He is survived by the following children: Merrill Weeks of Peyton, Colo., Mrs. Wilbur Ireland of Cotopaxi, Mrs. Alvin Ziegler of Pueblo, Mrs. Edgar Munson of Security, Colo., and Mrs. Everett Clow of Denver, six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. One son preceded him in death.
