Services will be Friday in Dayton, Va., at the Dayton Mennonite Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelby J. Fryling, of Los Angeles, Calif.; sons Donald of Middlebrook, Va., J.R. of Greenwood, Del., Sheldon of Sarasota, and Walter Jr. of Stryker, Ohio; a sister, Evelyn Berkshire, of Harrisonburg; a brother, Glen Berkshire, of Harrisonburg; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
