Born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, our friend and physician passed away peacefully at his home of natural causes.
A graduate of UCLA and New York Medical College, Dr. Bolkin conducted his own practice on Larchmont in Hancock Park. He always wanted to be a doctor and he loved practicing medicine.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta Strickland; and sister, Marsha. He is survived by his son, Miles. Residing in Los Angeles and Laguna Beach, he will be greatly missed by friends and former patients.
Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Mount Sinai, Hollywood Hills.
