Benjamin L. Sites, age 80, of Chambersburg, PA, died Monday, February 9, 2004, at home. Born April 17, 1923, in Greason, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel and Susan Cooley Sites. Prior to retirement he owned and operated Mt. View Television Sales and Service in Chambersburg. He was a member of Chambersburg Bible Church. He was a life member of VFW Post 1599 in Chambersburg, and a life member of Franklin Fire Co. Chambersburg. He served in the Army in WW II, was a prisoner of war and received the Bronze Star. He is survived by his wife, Janet Coble Sites of the same address; a daughter, Mrs. Rodney (Peggy) Stoner of Chambersburg, and a son Dennis (husband of Denise) Sites of Chambersburg; a sister, Pauline Lindeman of Camp Hill also survives him. He has four grandchildren: Brandon Stoner, Kristin Stoner, LaBreeska Sites and Benjamin Sites, all of Chambersburg. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Hobday, and three brothers, Leroy, Rev. Harold Sites and Merle Sites. Arrangements by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Ltd., 725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA. Interment, Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg. Graveside honors, conducted by Honor Guard of Post 1599 VFW, Chambersburg.
