Waldo Kenneth Kivett, 75, of 1706 Clarendon Drive, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Christ United Methodist Church, conducted by Dr. Richard Randolph. Private entombment will be in Westminster Gardens.
He was a Randolph County native, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Battleground Civitan Club and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a retired Corporate Financial Director.
Survivors are wife, Iris Jones Kivett of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Kenneth and Joette Kivett of Kernersville; son, Jonathan James Kivett of Atlanta, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Aileen and Ray Gilliland of Ramseur; grandchildren, Chandler Exton Kivett, Shelby Ruth Kivett of Kernersville.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the Loflin Funeral Home in Ramseur and immediately after the memorial service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Hospice at Greensboro & Palliative Care, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405; American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27407.
