Age 75, passed away suddenly Sunday night. Mr. Bailey was born Feb. 18, 1895 in Clinton Ind., the son of James Frank and Sarah Bailey and had resided in Marcellus since 1961 before moving to Kalamazoo July 1 of this year. Previous to living in Marcellus, he served as an electrical engineer with the Detroit City Water Dept. for 30 years. Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War I. He was a life member of Anchor Masonic Lodge 980 of Danville Ill. Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Anna; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) Murray of Marcellus; one brother John of Terrisita Mo.; 6 grandchildren; 2 nieces and one nephew. Friends may call at the Romig Funeral Home, Marcellus, after 7:30 this evening and until Wednesday morning. Masonic graveside services at Springhill Cemetery, Danville, Ill., Wednesday 1 p.m., in charge of Danville Masonic Lodge 980.
