Addison Alexander Anderson died at 52 years of age from an electric shock from a faulty refrigerator in the City Hall cafeteria. He was the City Hall groundkeeper and furnace fireman.

He was a World War I veteran and a member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and Eagles.
