He was born on June 18, 1923 in Johnson County, Kentucky to Benjamin and Mae Stone Patrick. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He retired from International Harvester after 35 years of service. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and he enjoyed camping, boating, vacationing and tinkering in his garage.
Stoney was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bob, Burns, Bufford, Brievin and Brady Patrick and sisters, Billie Lemaster, Joy Conley, Tomalee Patrick and Bonnie Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Stires Patrick, whom he married on July 1, 1967; nephew Lester (Nancy) Lemaster and niece, Karen Conley.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Dan McCleen and Danny Young officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
