Helen Campbell, 88, of Solvay, passed away on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family. Helen graduated from Solvay High School, in 1940. She met Charles while roller skating and married him in 1947. Helen worked various jobs until her 1st child, Bonita, was born in 1949 and then decided to stay home and be a full-time wife and mother. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church all of her life. After her husband retired, Helen and Charles delivered for Meals-on-Wheels together. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1999; and her daughter, Bonita Brown, in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Victor) Brzezinski; son, Kerry; son-in-law, Michael P. Brown; one sister, Mary Page; grandchildren, Chad Brzezinski and Damian (Lisa) Campbell; great-grandchildren, Collin and Addison; stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin and Alivia; and several nieces and nephews.
