Obituary - Funeral service for William O. Hall, Portland home builder, who died Monday in Lisbon, Oregon, will be Friday in Minneapolis. Burial will be at Green Bay, Wisconsin, near where Mr. Hall was born in October, 1884. Mr. Hall died unexpectedly while he and Mrs. Hall were returning from a visit with their children; Dr. Barnard Hall in Minneapolis, William O. Hall Jr. in Alexander, Virginia and their five grandchildren. At one time Mr. Hall was superintendent of schools in Roswell, New Mexico and president of the state normal school in New Mexico. From 1923 to 1932 the Halls lived in Prineville, where Mr. Hall was a councilman for six years, a member of the county unit board and mayor. In Prineville he was associated with a local bank. Since moving to Portland, Mr. Hall had been engaged in residential building, real estate and insurance. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the City Club and the Portland Realty Board. The family home is at 8003 S.E. 30th Avenue in Portland.
