Lois Newsom, 56 of Van Buren, died Friday, April 01, 2011 in her home. She was a Counselor for Inspirations Counseling for the Elderly, a longtime resident of Crawford County. She obtained her Master's Degree at NSU in Tahlequah, OK, having majored in Psychology; a member of the NSU'S Honor Society and a member of the Dean's List.She was preceded in death by parents, Lenus & Ruth Forslund and one sister, Kathy Holmes.
She is survived by her husband, Delbert of 27 years; one daughter, Crystal Bradley of Ft. Smith; one son, Patrick Forslund of Gans, OK; one sister, Tammie Yenter of Gans, OK; two brothers, Tim Forslund of Gans, OK and Jim Forslund of Irving, TX; several nieces & nephews and four grandchildren.
