BIG STONE GAP, Va. -- Margaret Johnson Rogers, 81, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Big Stone Gap, member of the Big Stone Gap Rebekah Lodge, member of the Wellmont-Lonesome
Pine Hospital Auxiliary and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. "Bill" Rogers; her parents, W.H. and Eliza Adams Johnson; two brothers; and
five sisters.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Irene) Gullion of Mt. Carmel, Tenn., Mrs. Ronnie (Janice) Mohn of Big Stone Gap, Mrs.
Gene (Brenda) Hall of Mt. Carmel and Mrs. Richard (Cindy) Watkins of Big Stone Gap; five sons, Bill (Donna) Rogers of Big
Stone Gap, Leonard (Beschell) Rogers of Big Stone Gap, Donnie Sharon) Rogers of Big Stone Gap, David (Kathy) Rogers of Columbia, S.C., and Roy (Becky) Rogers of Big Stone Gap; 13 grandchildren, Jim and Chris Rogers, Robby Gullion, Melissa Horner, Lee and Beth Culbertson, Justin and Josh Rogers, Tony and Eric Rogers, Chad Dickenson and Loren Rogers and Travis Rogers; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Marybelle Weber of Abingdon; 10 step-grandchildren; and special caregivers, Mary Lawson of Big Stone Gap, and Dianne Mays of Norton.
Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap. Funeral services will be conducted 8 p.m.
in the Holding Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John McCarroll officiating.
Committal services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Glencoe Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at funeral home 10:30 a.m. Monday to go in procession.
