CARL C. ABER

Wednesday evening of last week the Hayden community heard in sad surprise that Carl Aber, had suddenly passed away. His death was caused by a heart attack. Mr. Aber had lived in the community for many years ane had reared a family that was commendable indeed to the father and mother. His uprightness of character and industry were generally recognized. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. S. Stevenson and had been postponed until his son Curtis could attend. Interment was made in the Hayden cemetery.

Carl Curtis Aber was born to Loren W. Aber and Harriet L. Aber in Buffalo, N.Y. on Feb. 17, 1891 and passed away Nov. 11, 1942 at his home in Hayden, Colo. He had attained the age of 51 years, 8 months and 24 days. On August 30, 1919 he was united in marriage to Pearl Kiddie of Mt. Harris, Colo. To this union three children were born: Loren George, Carl C. Aber, and Marie Joyce. He is survived by his wife; one daughter from a former marriage, Morene (Aaber) Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; and two sisters, Ethel Kelly and Cora Aber of El Paso Texas; and one grandchild; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Loren Aber of Mt. Harris.

Carl Aber and Miss Pearl Kiddie, both of Mt. Harris were married Saturday at the Methodist parsonage, by Rev. V. C. Soash. Tho young couple were accompanied by the bride's father and by two friends, Miss Nellie Bugay and Dennis Courtier, also of Mt . Harris.
