Wabash Township, died Tuesday morning at
8:40 o'clock, at his home, 307 South
Twenty-sixth street, from complications
following a stroke of paralysis last
Thursday.
Born December 14, 1858, in Tippecanoe
County, Mr. Thomas spent his entire life
farming in Wabash Township, until three
years ago when he retired and moved here.
On February 11, 1894, he was married to
Flora Eichinger, who survives with a
daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Balkema of
Lafayette, Route 7, and a granddaughter.
He was a charter member of the Red Men
Lodge of Klondike, No. 316.
The body was removed to the Bradshaw
home and will be returned to the family
residence where friends may call on
Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services
will be conducted Thursday afternoon
at 2 o'clock from the residence, with
the Rev. Earl Heimberger, of the
Zionsville Methodist church, officiating.
Interment in the family lot in Grand
View cemetery, where the Red Men Lodge
will conduct a service.
