Johanna L. (Jo) Platt, 69, 516 Short Street, Winchester died Wednesday evenign Oct.23,1991 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Munice after a brief illness.
She was a native of Clarksburg and had lived in Randolph County for several years. She attended Bedford high School in Bedford and Ridgeville Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband 51 years, George, one son Haold L. Platt; one daughter Mrs. William (Brenda Kay) Ackman of Winchester; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grand children, and several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Memoral Lynn with the Rev. C.P. Hurry oficating. Burial wll follow in Spartanburg Cemetery. Frineds may call 2 hours prior to the sevice Saturday.
