Obituary
Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery Wednesday at 1 p.m. for Taft resident Myrtle Ann Dake, 86. The Rev. Joe Skiles, associate pastor of New Hope Temple, will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Dake was born in Adonis, MO., on January 11, 1909 and passed away July 24, 1995 at a local hospital. She had lived on the West Side for the past 75 years.
Mrs. Dake was a member of New Hope Temple. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was an avid crocheter and an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed the outdoors and doing ceramics.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Clyde Dake, in 1985, and a grandson, Troy Jenkins, in 1983.
