BLAZER, ELMER CLEO - age 76, of Seymour, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012. He was a member of the Seymour Masonic Lodge, and a Deacon at Union Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Gertrude McCroskey Blazer. Survivors: Wife: Thelma Fain Blazer; Sons and daughter-in-law: Ronnie Blazer, Randall and Debra Blazer; Grandchildren: Rachael Parton, Danny Parton, Eric Blazer; Step-grandchildren: Destiny Parton, Shae Parton; Great-grandchild who will be here soon: Autumn Raye Parton; Sister and brother-in-law: Betty and Danny Noland. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: The Gideons International P.O. Box 429, Seymour, TN 37865. The family would like to thank Fort Sanders Regional Caregivers and Covenant Hospice. Funeral service 6 pm Wednesday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Rev. Hudson Chesteen and Rev. David Gibson officiating. Interment 10 am Thursday in Cummings Chapel Cemetery.
