Born December 15, 1922 in Clearfield he was the son of Harry E. and Ida P. (Belford) Bartley.
He retired from United Electric Cooperative, Inc. He was a member of Centre Grove United Methodist Church, a life member of the Third Ward Hose Company and a member of the Old Town Sportsmen's Club. He was a WWII US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Lavetta (Putt) Bartley whom he married April 20, 1949, a daughter Marilyn Barger and a son Donald Bartley both of Clearfield, four granddaughters Kimberley Paradisi and her husband Eric of Springfield, VA, Kelly Barger, Angela Weed and Shannon Hoover all of Clearfield. Also surviving are three great grandchildren Ashley Hoover, Curtis and Carly Weed, a sister Wilma Yeager Potter as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his parents.
