George Price Cooper Jr., C'36, of Augusta, Ga., died on October 11, 2006. He worked in a brokerage business in New York City until World War II, during which he served in France as a captain in the Army attached directly to the Allied Supreme Headquarters. After working for NBC radio in Savannah, Ga., he returned home to Huntsville, Ala., where he founded the Boswell and Cooper Insurance Agency. He retired in 1974. Survivors include his wife, Petey.
