Mrs. Susie Vick, 85 of McClure, Il., and a resident for more than 50 years, died at Union County Hospital, Anna, Il. where she had been a patient for a month. She was born in Thebes, Il. on Aug. 5, 1881 to Horace Lee and Anna Sitton Caldwell. She married J. Henry Vick on September 8, 1901 at Thebes, Il. Rev. Phil Goltfelty officiated. Mr. vick died in 1965. Mrs. Vick was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edith E. Vick Robison of Cheverly, Md., sons Russell C. Vick of McClure,Il., Lawrence K. Vick of Thebes, Il., and J. Henry Vick, Jr., of Riverdale, Il.,seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral was held at 2 P.M. Monday at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church near Tamms, Il. where Mrs. Vick was a member. Rev. Ralph Isom officiated. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola, Il. Crain-Norris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
