Charlotte Josephine Chew, 77, of Taneytown, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at
Country Companions Assisted Living in Taneytown.
Born August 3, 1934, in Finksburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry and
Alice Williams Chew.
She was employed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers for 32 years. She
enjoyed leading the residents at Country Companions in exercise sessions.
Surviving are several cousins; and her extended family at Country Companions.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at
Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, with the Rev. Les
Sims, of Taneytown Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Mount
Pleasant Chapel Cemetery in Gamber.
