Mr. Blair has been employed at Marhoefer Packing Co. the past three years and prior to that was employed at Muncie Gear Co. 22 years.
Surviving are his wife, Emily, president of Muncie War Mothers; a son, Fred, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Reed, Cammack; six sisters, Mrs. Alvin Smith, Albany, Mrs. Mary Maddox, Mrs. Robert Buffenbarger, Miss Juanita Blair, all of Hartford City, Mrs. Charles Everhart, Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and Mrs. Clarence Cummings, Rockford, Ill.; four brothers, Robert, Charles, Larry, and Archie Blair, all of Hartford City; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary 10 a.m. Monday, with Rev. James Lantz, pastor of Main Street Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7 p.m. Saturday, and from 2 to 5 and from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday.
