COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Margie Nadean Bowman, 70, of Crawford, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Allen's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Allen's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 26, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home, and again from 11 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Bowman died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 24, 1941 in Overton County TN to the late Osa D. and Effie Mae Allen.

She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as well as a member of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her husband, Charles Olath Bowman, Nadean was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Norma Ray; one brother Hilman Allen; a great-grandson, Kendale Lee Whitehead; two brothers-in-law, Wade Ray and Jerry Snedecor, a sister-in-law, Dessie Allen and her mother and father-in-law, Cletis and Ada Bowman.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Farris, Tim Farris, Johnny Ledbetter, Doug Ledbetter, Shawn Gipson, Dylan Burgess, Gary Allen, Richard Allen, and Lee Snedecor.

Bro. Edd Shaver and Bro. Ken Haney will be conducting the service.
