Betty was born August 21, 1931, in Cabell County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ruben and Ada France Weatherholt. She married Fred Ernest Mohr on 22 April 1950 in Cabell County West Virginia.
Betty was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and she had an active role with her husband Fred in the day to day operations of their family business, Mohr's Tire Farm, Mohr's Trucking Company and M&M Supply.
She died 1 November 2008 in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Mohr; one sister, Mary Smith; three brothers, Hedrick, Homer and Oscar Weatherholt; and one grandson, Joshua McDonie.
