CHASE CITY -- Mrs. Lillian Dunn Ashworth, 90, died November 17, 2000.
Graveside funeral services were held November 20 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Argle Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Ashworth was the widow of Henry Ashworth and was also predeceased by two sons, William 'Billy' and Elroy Ashworth. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors are seven children, Florence Adams of Drakes Branch, Gertrude Jones of Orlando, Fla, Barbara J McGuire of Chase City, Merle Wallace of Boydton, Talmadge Ashworth of Burkeville, Lois White of Orlando, Fla, and Carol Gill of South Hill; one siter, Edna Allgood of Boydton; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
