Parents of Bill Johnson were Evelyn Billy Fae (Tomlinson), McRae & John Clement Johnson, of Conway. Billy grew up & attended school in McRae before moving to the Conway area. The second child, he is survived by his parents; three brothers: Dr. John Steven Johnson, of Little Rock; Bryan Richard Johnson, of Conway; and Robert "Bob" Johnson, of McRae; grandmothers: Gracie (Bell) Tomlinson, & Ethel (Murray) Johnson both of Searcy. He is preceded in death by grandfathers: William "Bill" Tomlinson, and Clement Johnson, both of McRae.
Funeral services were conducted by his uncle, Eugene Johnson, of Beebe, on April 11, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. at Westbrooks Funeral Home in Beebe. Pallbearers were: Johnny Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Dr. Steve Johnson, Buddy Goff, Jay Butler, and Paul Lunceford. Burial in Weir Cemetery, McRae, Arkansas.
