"Aunt Allie",as she was known to everyone,was the 5th child and only living daughter when she was born to Eliza Saville and Robert Francis Neslen.Alice was born on November 30th,1882 in Salt Lake City,Utah.
Alice was a gracious,friendly person to everyone she met.She had a keen sence of humor and a quick wit.Aunt Allie was fun to visit and be with.When she was young during her growing up years,Alice showed signs of a weak heart,so her family spared her the drudgery of doing household chores.Aunt Allie never Married,and after the death of her parents,she moved into a little house on 3rd Avenue in Salt Lake,where she lived with her sister Bessie.They lived a quiet life,retired from all but Family and close friends. Aunt Allie passed away on November 12th,1970 in Salt Lake City, about three weeks before her 88th Birthday. She is survived by many nieces and nephews who love her very much.Her Funeral was held in the 20th Ward Chapel on 2nd Avenue and G Street in Salt Lake.She was then buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery close to her brother Charles Clarence Neslen.
