Aubrey H. Scrum, 86, of Flagstaff, died Feb. 12, 2006.
He was born July 30, 1919, in Masonville, N.Y., to Riley and Clara Scrum.
Mr. Scrum spent most of his life farming. He moved to Arizona in 1969. Locally he was known simply as grandpa. He enjoyed reading, story telling, and caring for animals.
Mr. Scrum is survived by his children, Cleon Sorell of Corvales, Ore., Rebecca Quijada of Salinas, Calif., Warren (Ly) Scrum of Las Vegas, Joe Scrum (Sherry) of Cottonwood, Linda Scrum of Flagstaff, Ruth (Mike) Naliborski of Flagstaff, Lois (Mike) Marsh of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Fred (Lisan) Scrum of Cordes Lakes; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Anna; and son Raymond.
