Vallie Turner Leist ,97 , previously of Yoakum, passed away in Angleton, Texas, where she had lived for the past twelve years. She was born in Greenvine, Texas, on February 14, 1908, to parents, John Woodson Turner and Mary Emma Huffman Turner.
She was married to the late Fritz Leist for 50 years. Preceded in death by her parents;husband; five siblings, Faye Petering ; May Buesing; Leonard Turner; Olive Turner; Nolan Turner.
Survivors include her sons, Roy Leist (Jennie); Jerry Leist (Frances);four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great -grandchildren. Many other loving family members and friends.
